Marketing/emailing
As soon as we receive the order for the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) we can legally start marketing your home. We will immediately contact all suitable applicants on our mailing list by telephone to arrange provisional viewings. The sales particulars will be emailed out and all provisional viewings confirmed.  In addition, with our unique alliance with Move with Us, all our offices are now connected by the latest computer technology which means that your details can be reproduced, in colour, at any office upon request, offering the widest possible coverage.  We also receive enquiries from prospective purchasers through the 1,200 affiliated offices across the country. Every Tuesday, we email our Weekly Property Bulletin to all buyers. This includes all new instructions – so your property will feature in this too.

 
Viewings
All appointments to view will be made with as much notice as possible.  All applicants will be thoroughly vetted to determine their position and status.  It is our policy to  accompany viewings at all times, but if a situation occurs where this is not possible, we will inform you of this and give you the option to reschedule the appointment.

 
Timescale
We will strive to achieve your desired time scale up to and including completion, but stress that you should let your legal representative know your preferences as early as possible in the transaction as it is only when all parties in a chain are ready that exchange of contracts can take place and the completion date is actually set.

Before we forward an offer to you we will have checked the buying position of the prospective purchaser and clarified their financial situation. When we present offers we will advise you on the suitability of the purchaser and ensure that their timescale for moving suits yours.


Sales Control Department
Often, getting an offer and sale agreed is the easy bit. The hard work starts with getting it through to exchange and completion. We employ dedicated sales co-ordinators that will liaise between all the parties in the chain, including solicitors, other estate agents, building societies and mortgage brokers. Our co-ordinators will contact you regularly to update you as the sale progresses.
